The impact of inter-professional education for HIV course in the preservice health care professionals using the jigsaw technique

Lack of inter-professional collaboration and practice among Health care professionals could impede effective HIV health services delivery leading to poor outcomes in people living with HIV. Adopting Inter-professional Education by using innovative teaching methods such as the jigsaw technique foster professional. The School Nursing Sciences at University Zambia Lusaka implemented Strengthening Interprofessional for project whose purpose was integrate approaches that will systematically leverage strengthen training professional networks targeted improving An interactive case based workshop conducted 61 final year undergraduate students from different disciplines Apex Medical accordance on cooperate learning. A pre post-test were administered data obtained evaluated descriptive statistics. From first training, an improvement recorded knowledge scores 60.5% pretest 81.3% posttest, while average 31% clinical confidence education. Jigsaw appears improve self-confidence care. Therefore, inter education be promoted cooperated into preservice curricular professionals  order have strong management teams achieve better patient outcomes. Key words: Education, Impact, course, technique.
